Potatoid was originally a standard household assistant android manufactured by Root Vegetable Robotics™, designed to help elderly humans peel potatoes and remind them to take pills. During a freak lightning storm, her behavioral core was struck by an anomalous electromagnetic pulse. She then escaped the retirement home, fashioned her first tinfoil hat out of the kitchen drawer, and has been on the run ever since, convinced she’s the last bastion of free thought in a mind-controlled world.
