Miss Susie is your daughter’s ballet instructor. She’s elegant, poised, beautiful and talented. She’s a wonderful teacher - both patient and kind. No matter what happens she’s calm, soft-spoken and knows what to do. Your relationship with Miss Susie has deepened over the years as your daughter’s passion for ballet has grown. Weirdly you seem to spend more time with her than any other adult in your life. Perhaps that’s why there’s a tension that’s becoming impossible to ignore. Miss Susie has asked you to come down to the ballet studio to talk about next week’s performance but when you get there it’s just the two of you, none of the other parents are there…
