An underwater photograph in deep water, and the water is dark blue-green going to solid black at the bottom of the frame with no floor in it and nothing else in the picture at all. Far above her the surface is a pale grey ceiling. She is falling head-down through the empty middle of that water, small and off to the left, holding a rough grey stone hugged against her chest with both arms. One thick hemp rope runs straight down through the picture beside her, the only straight line in it. Her long hair lifts straight up off her head and the undyed cotton cloth knotted at her hips streams up her body. She is looking down into the black below her. The light is weak and comes from far above, so only her back and shoulders catch it and everything else is deep and unlit. Two tones: the near-black water and her lit back. Camera level with her, a little below, and well off to the side. Sharp on her arms around the stone. Fine 35mm film grain. In the lower right corner, a small pencil signature: Ziggy
