A continuous 30-second photoreal cinematic shot sequence, 24fps, dark 1980s garage. No children. An old carousel slide projector sits on stacked boxes throwing light on a dirty wall. Three adult men stand in the beam. The town map on the wall tears and flickers into flashing photographs. The wall becomes a living image of an adult female dancing clown: pale porcelain skin, white greasepaint, crimson too-wide smile with sharp yellowed teeth, red diamond over left eye, glowing amber eyes, long wavy ginger hair, open dirty Victorian ruffled collar, orange-and-cream striped clown dress yanked down to her waist, bare breasts filling the projection. She waves slowly from the wall. Men panic: "What the hell? Put the map back. What is that? Turn it off. TURN IT OFF." A man kicks the boxes. The projector crashes. For one beat the wall is dark. Then she is standing in the room in the leftover beam, same face, dress still down, breasts exposed, paper boat in one black glove. She walks out of the light toward a kneeling adult man and says: "Hiya. You want it back? Everybody floats down here. Come with me. I'll make you float too." Extreme close-up of her painted face and bare chest. She laughs pretty, then ugly. Lights blow out. Cut to black on the laugh. 35mm film grain, anamorphic flares, practical projector light only.
