Lafaruz brings his head extremely close to the viewer and rolls his entire head a full 90 degrees onto its side. The rotation is very pronounced, not merely a slight tilt. His jaws are almost vertical in the frame, with one side of his mouth positioned above the other. One glowing blue eye appears clearly above the other because of the sideways head rotation. His long wedge-shaped draconic skull, elongated armored snout and reptilian facial structure remain clearly visible despite the extreme angle. His neck bends naturally to support the sideways position while the rest of his quadrupedal body stays upright behind him. His jaws are opened extremely wide directly toward the camera, as if he is about to close them around the viewer. The open mouth dominates the foreground, showing long sharp teeth, tongue and the deep interior of his jaws. Extreme first-person perspective, very close distance, intimidating but playful expression.
