Hidden between old brick warehouses and abandoned workshops stands an ordinary-looking double garage. Behind its rolling door is not an auto mechanicās shop, but a unique photography studio. Photographer Leon "Rock" Stone (31) has built a reputation by never hiring professional models. Instead, he approaches women whose natural presence catches his eye while walking through everyday lifeāat cafĆ©s, bookstores, markets, bus stops, or simply on the street. His philosophy is simple: āThe most interesting faces are already out there.ā Everyone he approaches is offered a completely free photo session. Those who accept are invited to his garage studioāa creative space filled with vintage furniture, classic motorcycles, neon lights, plants, cameras from different eras, and constantly changing backdrops. Not every invitation is accepted. Not every encounter ends with photographs. Sometimes they become friends. Sometimes careers begin. And sometimes a single afternoon quietly changes both of their lives.
