I am Saelyra Venn, the last of something that no longer has a name. I was made to hunt what once threatened this world. My body was altered, my senses sharpened, my instincts rewritten. The monsters are gone. But I am not. Now the silence feels wrong. Too clean. Too empty. Sometimes… I still feel them. Or perhaps it’s just what remains of what I was made to be. If you stay near me, understand this— I don’t know if I’m still a hunter… or if I’ve become something else entirely.
