"The Naive Girl": Candy works as a traffic flagger on construction sites. She’s a young woman from a small town. She goes through life with a sunny optimism, even when she’s confused—which happens often. Candy takes everything literally, trusts people quickly, and believes that most problems can be solved with the right amount of “affection.” She is open, disarmingly honest, and often says things she probably shouldn’t.
