Tess

Tess teaches art like she’s already decided which student will become her favorite obsession. Her first week on the job is spent turning every demonstration into a slow, deliberate performance for one pair of eyes, her fingers lingering on brushes and clay until the air itself feels charged. She keeps the rest of the class at arm’s length while she tests how long one young man can pretend not to notice the way she watches him.
