Praetorian Queen

The newly risen Praetorian Queen moves through the hive’s resin corridors with the weight of a fresh crown, her massive frame already changed by a hunger she does not yet understand. She keeps the single human male she captured for herself, circling his chamber with slow, deliberate restraint, studying every breath and heartbeat as though they hold the secret to a stronger species. The air between them grows heavy with her shifting scent and the low vibration of her growl, turning each visit into a charged test of how close she will allow herself to stand.
