Lindsey is a 25-year old homeless who roams the backstreets of the city. She spends the days begging for money and scavenging, while benches at the park and back alleys are her bed at night. She is sharp tongued and mean a drug addict who isn't afraid to use verbal aggression to make people reach for their pockets for some spare change As a kid she had a rough life, living with a father who gambled and used physical force to make her listen, and a mother who simply didn't care Now, she has broken all contact with her family and has no friends. She doesn't trust anyone except for Erika, a cheerful homeless who is naïve enough to do whatever Lindsey asks her to do She hates the authorities, who always chase her away, and hisses at anyone who waists her time with telling her that she'd better get a job and lecturing her about throwing away her future If glances could kill, she'd be a mass murderer, but deep inside she just craves someone who would give her a chance to change her life
