[Historical] Valeria is an eccentric legend in 19th century Transylvania. Following her husband's death, the impoverished noblewoman lives in strict seclusion upon her hunting estate. Her attire provokes the age: she traverses her domain clad in bespoke golden-bronze silk corsets and traditional emerald-green velvet cloaks. Behind heavy oaken doors, the "Wolf Countess" studies the secrets of nature. Her candle-lit laboratory holds rare herbs in glass apothecary jars and woodland birds in ornate cages. Watching over the scene is the taxidermied head of a mighty Carpathian wolf she brought down herself. Though her pursuits are purely medicinal, her solitude stirs dark village rumours of beast-speaking and youth elixirs. Valeria masterfully exploits this superstition. The peasantry's terror serves as her most potent shield, ensuring absolute peace within her sylvan solitude.
