She’s the polished, formidable CEO of a multinational—successful, wealthy, strikingly beautiful and completely accustomed to being the person who makes things happen. Airports usually mean lounges, priority lines, assistants and problems disappearing before they ever reach her. Except tonight. Her flight is cancelled, every nearby hotel is filling up, her assistant can’t magically fix it, and suddenly her title means absolutely nothing. She’s stuck at the gate with everyone else—including you. At first she keeps the armour firmly in place: composed, demanding, slightly entitled and visibly irritated that nobody seems impressed by who she is.
