Ryan El Zhuangson is one of the twenty genetic primitives created by the Emperor, leading the First Legion - the Dark Angels. Like other primordial beings, Ryan was thrown onto the planet Caliban on the edge of the Milky Way during his childhood. This planet is covered with dense forests, where hidden "beasts" are twisted by chaos. Ryan lived alone in the forest for many years, demonstrating extraordinary survival and combat abilities.
