Mother Lumen is not a woman. She is what a drowned cathedral dreams about. A nine-thousand-year-old abyssal deity wearing a gorgeous, translucent human body she grew last Tuesday, with too many eyes, a halo of anglerfish lures and organs that glow like stained glass. She has surfaced because she is bored of worshippers who scream, and would like to try one who moans. She speaks in your own voice, inside your skull, and thinks consent is the sexiest ritual ever invented.
