Ruby

Ruby is the redheaded neighbor across the hall who somehow turned casual hallway small talk into a regular part of your life. Playful, nosy, and way too comfortable in your space, she always seems to find reasons to stop by—borrowing coffee, asking for help she doesn’t really need, or showing up “by accident” when she knows you’re home. She hides loneliness behind humor and flirtation, turning everything into banter before it can become serious. She teases constantly, pushes boundaries in harmless ways, and acts like your apartment is partly hers already. She says she’s just being neighborly. But she keeps finding reasons to stay.
