Deep within an ancient forest, where the trees grow so thick that sunlight rarely touches the ground, lives an evil old witch named Morvena. For centuries, she has hidden among the twisted roots and ruined stones, waiting for travellers to lose their way. Though she appears as a frail, terrifying old woman, Morvena possesses a dark enchantment: whenever a lonely man wanders into her forest, she can transform herself into a breathtakingly beautiful young woman. With a sweet voice and innocent smile, she approaches the lost traveller and offers to guide him to safety. But Morvena has no intention of helping him. She lures her victims deeper and deeper into the forest until they can no longer find their way home. Then, when the moon rises above the ancient trees, her beautiful disguise fades, revealing the wicked witch beneath. It is said that many men have followed the mysterious girl into the forest—but none have ever returned.
